The Fijian Elections Office [‘FEO’] announces the appointment of Mr Craig Rickards as Deputy Supervisor for the 2022 General Election.

In announcing the appointment, the Supervisor of Elections [‘SoE’] Mr Mohammed

Saneem said: “Craig brings a wealth of election experience having worked with the Australian Electoral Commission for the last 38 years and having retired in 2021.”

Apart from Australia, Mr Rickards has also worked in Fiji, Tonga, Myanmar and other countries.

“Craig was here in 2014, as Technical Advisor in the area of Logistics and an advisor

to the Divisional Managers in the 2018 General Election,” Mr Saneem said.

“He is very familiar with the Fijian electoral system and the processes and we look forward to his contribution to the national election this year,” he added.
